1M got chomped but by a margin more than would be expected if power figures were accurate. Gearing is in favor of the F80 too which can make a big difference.

No doubt the S55 is quick, but there's something off about the 1M/n54 in this video. My impression is that's it's being tuned way too conservatively. I'm running E65 w/out meth on a custom flash (estimating 450whp), AT.
The outcome vs. a stock (let me say that again -- "STOCK"), F8x should not be what you saw in that video. Anyways, the S55 is a rising bad-ass. Only a matter of time. 1M S55 transplant anyone? Hahaha... |

Wow, glad this was posted. I didn't know BMW had upgraded the motor so much. Not that I street race, but this could have saved me some embarassment. I wonder what kind of Hp numbers this motor will put down once the aftermarket gets hold of it!

S55 beast for sure but encryption is still an issue if you ever want to do proper aftermarket tuning.
