Red interior with Grey Poplar or High gloss black?
The 135 in Black exterior looks great with red interior. The red looks good with poplar which the std way the car comes
Not sure if anyone has the red interior with the Glossy black and if Poplar is a better combo with red interior |

I would go with gray poplar on since I do not like the way the high gloss has metallic in it. If it was just a high gloss piano finish then I would go with it.

I don't like gray poplar at all! The wood just does not fit well with the style of this car. I know the black has a slight sparkle but I still think it matches the red leather the best.

I've seen a lot of people calling this trim Piano Black. That would be awesome, and I would probably get it if it was. I've got some friends that have a Steinway grand piano (that costs more than this car, by the way), and this trim doesn't look like that at all. I would go look at it in person before you decide that you want sparkles in your interior.

I've seen both and can vouch for both looking phenomenal.
I personally chose gloss black because I intend to order the matching shift knob and ebrake handle.

I would go with the Poplar. It has a more expensive look to it. In MY opinion, the glass black looked like if I took my trim pieces off and painted them. (no offense guys, a lot of ricer civics do this)

I sat in and drove a 1 that had High gloss black in it. Honestly, I would of never known there was any metallic flek in it if I would not of seen that SS posted here awhile back with a flash going off 2 inches from it. You can't see any sparkle in the High gloss trim just looking at it in normal lighting. It looks pure black to me. /shrug

See that just looks weird to me. The gray poplar just looks out of place next to such a flashy interior color. To me the gray poplar only looks good with the black leather, and even then it doesn't look "expensive". This is not an "expensive" looking car no matter what color the trim is. It's a sporty looking car and I think the gloss black and aluminum just fit that sporty look much better then shiny wood.

I agree, too many colors, textures, inputs happening, distracting, ahhh...! IMO.
