Z4MC RussRamz's pics
Greetings all,
I finally had the opportunity to clean up the mini-beast over the weekend with a break in the local weather. Although you cannot see it, my first couple mods are already complete. I stripped the Continentals off and replaced with some Goodyear F1 all-seasons. Since this will be my daily driver/track car, I will mount some Michelin PSC's to my incoming wheels from TCKline. The other mod is the removal of the charcoal filter from the airbox which took all of ten minutes.

She's a beauty! Always loved the black/red combo. Especially love photoshoots done at airfields.

As for the runway--I work at this field and although it was closed, if I blew a tire and wiped out a bunch of lights, it would be worse on my career if I blew a tire on the autobahn and wiped out another car. The risk vs. reward just isn't there in my book

The car looks great! April can't get here soon enough for me. Thats when I will pick up my M and get to enjoy the cloudy skies of Germany, for a couple weeks anyway. Are you planning on retiring and staying in Germany?

Haha... nice try! I think I thought of it before you did

See, the red on the M6 I could have lived with - it's a bit more muted. I like the look of the Imola interior, but I wasn't sure I'd like it day-in day-out. I'm thinking I might have the interior re-done in Cinnamon down the line - a BMW M color, goes well with Sapphire Black, a little different but not as in-your-face.

Sorry guys, I'm not going to get too detailed on a public forum.
As for the wheels, the OEM will be my daily driver wheels. I plan for a set of TCKline wheels with some Michelin PSC rubber for my track days. I am extremely anti-bling and anything that doesn't add performance is out of the question. I'm not really concerned with looks, but IMHO, the TCKline wheels look great.
