New wheels, cleaning up the hubs (or whatever they are called)
I'm getting my new vmr 718's soon, and I saw some DIY on cleaning the hubs (if that's what they are called) up with a drill and a wire brush attachment. Now, I am debating on painting them, I know I have to but I am unsure what color to paint them. The fronts are silver(ish), is that what color they come new?
Also, I need new roundels but of course I don't want to spend an arm and a leg. Where do I go? Don't know if I should have put this in wheels but I think it's a general ?? I'm using my iPad, didn't mean to post it in this section (moderator can you move)

You're probably thinking the center part of the brake rotor. The rotors are one piece and completely cover the hub. The hub is the part that holds the bottom of your strut, the wheel bearing, and connects to the control arms.
Most rotors are going to be roughly a dull iron grey fresh out of the box. Only a small part of what is safe to paint is really visible with the wheel mounted. Don't paint the friction surface of the rotor! ![]()

This is the part, as you can see mine look terrible. And my roundels look bad too, I needed wheels. The front one wasn't that bad but do I paint it or something?
