noob installation charge pipe question
Sorry for my noobness as this is my first turbo car.
I've been following the DIY charge pipe install found on e90post since the Evolution Racewerks instructions really didn't help me much. I came across this picture: Now when i look into my setup. It looks like my vacuum lines are the opposite. He has two going into one line whereas I have One line which breaks into two connecting to the OEM diverter valves. My kit didn't come with with any sort of adapter fittings that can turn this into one vacuum line for the Tial. Am I missing something? |

You should have the hose coming out the tial and going straight into the manifold. Ive got an ER CP with tial bov.. clear hose should've been sticking out of the total when you got it

The ER charge pipe did come with a vacuum line but it didn't come with any vacuum adapters. So do I just yank the vacuum lines off the Y adapter and find a way to connect connect the oem manifold line into the tial?

You could take that y to a hardware or auto store and find a straight. If at any point of time you decide to just get vacuum line and run it from the manifold to the tial bov, be very carefull. The nipple coming off the manifold that the vacuum line is hooked to can sometimes be easy to break. Then your ef'd. That picture you have, the top vacuum line connects to a diverter valve too. I think the picture just crops it off. If you want a quick fix you can get a screw to fit the second vac line and stick it in the end and zip tie it. Should work until you get it sorted. Good luck.
