Cold weather affecting DCT?

I live in central Florida, so my idea of cold is different than most. But we've been in the low 40's the last couple of days, and I have noticed that when I leave work (the car has been inactive for 10 hours or so), the shift with the Sport button on is really jolting from 1st to 2nd, and from 2nd to 3rd (but less harsh than 1-2). It's so abrupt it almost 'bucks' in that 1-2 change. However, I do not get that same reaction when I pull out of the garage in the morning, it's not heated but still a closed garage.

I'm thinking about taking it in under warranty but wondered if others had similar harsh shifting, and is it possibly weather related? Once it's even a little bit warmed up, no problem.

Yep, every time it's super cold out mine does exactly what you describe until it's warmed up a bit. It bucks pretty hard and feels like an old pos SMG trans from the E46 M3... It's pretty normal, DCT's have their quirky stuff too.

I live in Orlando, and haven't noticed anything like that. Car seems to have a bit more pull though with these 40 degree temps. We probably shouldn't talk about "cold" too much being from Florida. Everyone else will hate.

It was 15 this morning in atlanta and I dont have a garage, didnt have any weird shifting. But I don't use the sport button until the car is warmed up a bit.
