3.08 LSD on a DCT?

Has anyone swapped there 2.56 to a 3.08 LSD on a DCT 1er?

If so can I hear your opinions? Did everything work flawlessly?

Thanks

This is currently the only option showing on ECS' website. I'm curious to also hear people's opinions.

I stayed with the stock ratio when I had my LSD built. With the seven speed close ratio of the dct I didn't see a lot of value in raising the ratio. I only saw downside with respect to mileage. I did raise the ratio on my e90 6mt as there was a more clear need. 6 speeds vs 7 and wider ratios between gears.

I agree with this. Why not just contact Mfactory about a 2.56 unit? That's what I did and it's excellent.

I just ordred mine from M Factory for my 2011 135i DCT. Can't wait to get it installed, they said it would be around a month. Which works ok since my car is stored for the winter.

Btw what kind of limited slip diff fluid did you use. I'm assuming i can use the 75w 140 Limited slip fluid. Was just going to buy a gallon of the Redline stuff.

Does MFactory not make clutch or torsen style? Which are you getting? Torsen uses regular gear oil.

It's a helical style.. So basically torsen. I just used regular Castrol 75w90 fluid.

3.08 is the stock ratio for the 6MT. The 6MT, DCT, and 6AT are all different ratios.
