Vanity Mirror Cover stuck
Anybody know why these are stuck and how to get them unstuck? Thanks

A little dubbya dee fortay (WD40) wouldn't hurt. Personally, I'd take a plastic chisel against the "handle" and tap it lightly with a mallet if you're afraid of breaking it.

Both of mine are stuck with about 1/4th of the mirror showing. I have tried to push them open with as much force as possible and cannot get them to budge. I am thinking about trying to slide something flat in between the cover and the inside of the visor and working them open, haven't tried it yet since it is winter here.

my 128i was the same way when I picked it up. I carefully wedged something into the position between the cover and lining, and I very carefully went all the way around while making sure it was lifting. Afterwards, I pulled with great force and it popped right open. I assume the heat and lack of opening over the years had caused it to adhere.
