BMW Performance Exhaust
$600 + shipping BMW Performance Exhaust for 135i. Used for about 4k miles and went straight pipes recently so I no longer need it. Buyer pays shipping cost Last edited by SMB Mirrors; 12-28-2016 at 03:45 PM.. |

I'll do $525 shipped. The shipping is expensive so the actual price of the exhaust would be sub $400. Just recognize from the pics that the exhaust has no flange, it was used with the Y pipe so it was welded not bolted on. Getting it welded or getting a flange put on is easy and super cheap though.

Will this exhaust fit on the 128 and if so, what are the differences between this one and the one for the 128? Anything I would need to do?
I live in Alberta Canada and would pay the extra shipping required if no one takes it. |

There's one for sale right now for the 128. I have no idea what would be necessary to fit this one up. If it does work and you're still interested and want to pick it up let me know.

Pipe is slightly larger. Since the flange is already off, all you would need to do it cut your old exhaust off at the resonator and weld this on.

I know OP and I were talking in PMs but does anyone know if I could keep my mids with their stock resonator (avoid getting a y pipe) and just weld this in? Looking for more volume but hate drone.

You should be able to use your mid's with the rear section of the PE. Then sell the PE's y-pipe. The 128i PE is of a smaller diameter pipe than the 135i PE unit. Plus its only a rear section, which you must cut your old 128i one piece exhaust. Then the 128i PE slips onto the mid pipes. Totally different setup than a 135i has. The PE is a AWESOME exhaust. I really love mine. OP GLWS. Here are some pics of the 135i PE system. Maybe this will help answer some Q's...

You are correct sir, it is not present. I bought the axleback portion used from a user here. I had a Y pipe made and welded in. To do this, I had to cut the flange off the axleback portion of the exhaust, if you notice in the pictures the flange is absent. So I had a solid welded exhaust from the mids back with no flange at the Y-axleback junction. This is part of the reason I knocked the price so low because who ever buys it essentially has to run a solid welded setup, which isn't really any different than having the flange. Payment has actually gone through and I am shipping today, if something goes awry I will report back and keep the thread open. |
