Would you drive a 135i across?
Team,
Im seriously thinking about doing this. I love my car, and Im thinking driving through the middle from Sydney>Adelaide>Darwin in it. I want to have a crack on maybe the salt lakes of SA, or up the open speed limit areas. Plan is to put the car on the train back to Adelaide afterwards. ideas: - carry a spare tyre - Service/oil change before I do it - Service afterwards to get the red dust out of it. am I crazy? I want to get it outside of CBD driving, and get this thing reaching it's upper end of speed away from civilisation. I'd happily go to the Salt lakes if it's do-able. |

Do it, it'd be a good trip. A mate just bought an M3 from Melbourne and drove it back over here making a 5 day holiday out of it

I wouldn't if you haven't replaced your waterpump/thermostat before!

I drove from Brisbane to Melbourne when I moved and it was a great trip.

It'll be fine haha. I drive every few weeks from Sydney to wagga. These cars are great highway cruisers. Just be smart and don't tailgate to avoid rock chips
