135i Tips and Tricks
Hi all,
I've just managed to get my hands on a 2011 DCT M-Sport 135i. Being new to the world of BMWs and performance cars in general, I'd like to get some tips and tricks, be it about maintenance, convenient/hidden features, driving tips, cleaning, tracking, car meets (in Melbourne), good repair shops (leaning toward Active Motorwerkes), etc, or anything else you wish you'd known when you first got one. Cheers, Rik. Last edited by cozmicf; 12-06-2016 at 11:13 PM.. |

Congrats and welcome. Post up some pics so we can see your baby. I echo what Matticus91 said about searching this forum. Everything you would ever want to know about the 1 series is here.

The difference between the US and European version is minimal.

Yeah I have been and will continue to scour the threads for more tips and tricks, and last night sat down with the owner's manual and read through some of it. I was hoping for some other insights here, tips that may be scattered all over the internet, personal experiences, and just a more centralised collection of tips. That Buyer's Thread looks great, will have a read through it.
