N55 HPFP leaving me?
Car threw a CEL tonight, codes 2BDE and 2BF0. Cleared them and they haven't re-appeared after a few trips around the block, but now I have shadow codes.
Anybody know how long I have (before I get stranded for the third time)?

Local indi tells me BMW extended the HPFP warranty to 10 years/120,000 miles, so a bit of relief there.

Sounds like your HPFP might be failing. See post #90
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=419618&page=5 Also... here is a pdf on the extended warranty on the HPFP's. You should also have the low pressure sensor next to the HPFP replaced. That will cost you about $130 for the part(not covered by BMW). I would also see about the injectors and waste gate rattle. Dack

My car is an N55, here's to hoping the same applies. I wish I knew how much time I had. I suppose I'll wait for the next CEL and then see my dealer.

No extended HPFP coverage for my car (per BMW by email). No CEL since the one time last Thursday, just shadow codes.
