New alternative for steering wheel
I have been greatly challenged by the inadequacy of early 128i wheel
That could probably be re-stated to include all the wheels! But I digress On topic-replacing that wheel: received this yesterday- it's just perfect for my street DD. A guy here in the PNW offers 'any spec' thru CL postings regularly. A hobbyist BMW pilot, he has EU connections getting bone-yard wheels, re-wrapping and M (hand) stitching, now having delivered 200+ There's at the final pix... 1M porn Some $midthrees pricing fyi Have to install it this week!

Nicely done... I have to say I like the wheel on my 128, thick and has the "thumb" rests at 2 and 10. Wonder if it was part of the 2012 refresh? Have to say it's a much nicer feel over the stock wheel on the wife's e91.

All the US 1-series got the "Sport/M-Sport" steering wheel as standard. Though, I think the M-Sport ones go the M badge on the bottom spoke.
I wrapped mine back in December (not the trim piece) with a Xuji wrap I was gifted. It is thick AF, and feels so nice (smooth, soft leather vs OE hard, shiny leather). I really like the idea of leather-wrapping the trim piece, it looks fantastic! BTW, when I read your title "New alternative for steering wheel," I came up with all sorts of funny and snarky comments to say...
