Dual Oil Cooler set up

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Hey all, as this car is getting an S65 I don't need/can't use my custom dual oil cooler set up. So, up for sale is everything you'll need to install it on your E82 or E9x.

I assembled this kit, and intended to make my own brackets but ran out of time, so luckily Mosselman agreed to sell me just their brackets, which are gorgeous. The lines are the Setrab M12 connectors on the cooler end of the lines, and AN on the oil filter housing side, everything is top quality parts, and worked beautifully.

What this kit inlcudes:
  • Mosselman OIl Cooler Brackets, both sides
  • Two Setrab Cooler cores
  • Mishimoto Oil filter housing adapter
  • Custom SS braided lines
  • Driver's side ducting (OEM BMW)
  • Driver's side mounting bracket

The only thing I can think of that you'll need to provide yourself is the little nut insert for the driver's side mount, I believe it's PN 17217540030.

Full disclosure: This was on an engine that spun a rod bearing so you'll want to flush the coolers before installing just incase there is any lingering glitter, they look clean to me but double check.

Sorry, not sure why the price didn't stick. Looking for $600 plus shipping based on where you are.

EDIT: just did some looking around and I think $750 was probably a bit aggressive, let's shoot for $600.

Looks like it's a custom setup using setrab cores.

Great deal if you ask me!, If I had any intention to drive this car much harder than just casual weekend driving, I would definitely pick this up, seems like a pretty good deal if you don't feel like/aren't comfortable piecing together a kit yourself.

OP, GLWS.

Thank you. Yes they’re Setrab 6 series 19 row cores. The whole thing fits in the OEM locations.
