Jerkiness after letting go of throttle?

So I'm encountering an issue where when I let go of the accelerator the car has this jerkiness like a form of recoil

This is like my 10th manual so I know it's not something to do with the shifting or what not

I'm waiting on plates so am forced to test drive on local roads and can't bring the car to a mechanic for an inspection

Based on what I could read online the possibilities are:
- throttle body issues
- fuel injector issues
- motor mount issues
- carbon build up on intake valves

The car is also tuned (not sure with what, will re-tune with mhd) so I'm wondering if this could also be the issue

I doubt its the engine mounts, there's no thumping sound and the car has only 50.000 miles (although it has been tracked).

The others are all common n54 issues, so I wouldn't be surprised.

For those who experienced the same issue, what did it end up being?

Cheers

Drive line lash, worn DMFW or fuel/tune related.

100% sure it's stock other than software?

Thanks for the reply

Car was built for track (coilovers, extra cooling, bbk that was removed by seller, Recaro seats removed too)

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if it's running an aftermarket upgraded clutch or flywheel. Could this be it?

I've tested it properly tonight and it's actually only in 1st and 2nd gear where it does it the most. Still perceptible in 3rd and above but nowhere as annoying as the first few gears.

It's mostly at slower speeds with a bit of traffic where it gets annoying.

Does the car idle at 650-700? Any rattle from the gearbox at idle with Aircon on?

Probably stock DMFW then.

For me it was jb4 being "off" but still installed in the car. This heavily messed with mhd. Removing jb4 completely fixed it.
