New headliner. Anything else while it’s out?
Hi All!
After 14 and a half years and 66k mostly window down miles… the headliner in my 135i started to sag (probably because of the Texas heat this summer). I’ve always wanted the anthracite headliner that my dad had in is 1M, so I purchase a full set used (everything needed to convert from gray to anthracite). While I’ve got everything pulled apart, is there anything else I should do? I was thinking of things like greasing the sunroof tracks, replacing wear items in the sunroof etc. Thanks! |

Hi All,
Finally getting around to this… do I need to unhook the battery? Also does the seatbelt bolt need to be torqued when I reinstall it? I can’t find any firm answers…. Thanks! |

You don't need to unbolt the seat belt. Just remove the pillar trims.
These cars are getting pretty old, hope your replacement headliner is still in good condition in terms of the headliner foam. |
