Damnit! Replacement trim?
The sales associate I ordered from is a total idiot and has made more than one mistake. But now he got the interior trim wrong and the car has already been built. My options are to order a new car (hell no) or find replacement trim. Anyone know if the latter is an option? Thanks!!

It's not cheap, but it's doable

What does it matter what it costs - dealer made mistake, dealer fix, surely?

I agree the dealer should pay for it if it was their mistake. If not hit up Tisher they can get the trim pieces. Or trade with someone

It's an accessories catalogue
It's got all the stuff like a coat hanger for the back of the front seat, an umbrella holder, extra storage pockets that hang on the back of the front seat, a cover to protect your back seat from your dog, straps and nets for the trunk -- stuff like that.
Mind you, I'm in Sweden, but if you can't get something similar from your dealer, I could look up the part number for you. That's probably the same wherever you are. Just PM me. |

By the way, when my sales guy saw that I had chrome trim, he offered to change it to shadowline for free, since the M-sport package we have here says it gives you shadowline. But since I think the chrome looks better with black anyway I was delighted with the "mistake."
I mention this because, as another commenter said, they really should fix this for nothing if it's their mistake. |

I am under the impression that the trim can actually be fitted once the car has been delivered - it is not necessary for it to be done at the factory. I'd be speaking with the person who owns the dealership about fixing this. Make them order the new trim while you drive your car and then do the change when the new trim comes.
