CAS bricked - what to do?

I wanted to make a spare key by myself so I got myself xTool diagnostic tool.

Tried to downgrade CAS through OBD but it hanged.

Tried to repair CAS through OBD but not successful.

Now the car has no response even if I put in the key. The remote on key doesn't work any more.

Is it that the CAS has been bricked?

Could it be fixed if I take out the CAS, plug it to the diagnostic tool and repair the CAS?

There are just too little resources online about these and I have no clue after reading many posts and watching videos.

I am really sad now and hope someone knows how it can be fixed.

There are also similar link in ebay UK. That said, I would like to know what else I can do besides just asking someone to fix it. Ultimately similar things may happen again and I would like to learn how to avoid getting problems / get minor problems fixed.

It's just a pity that there isn't many online resources on learning how to work with car security system, flash, eeprom & ecu. I would highly appreciate if someone could kindly share learning resources so I can get to understand the problem better.
