my 135i is going thru puberty

at first i thought it was just me, but its not

the chime changes from time to time from ding ding to dong dong
for the seatbelt, though not all the time

with 1200 miles fast approaching, my car will soon become a man

Mine did the same thing, then, wonderfully, the chiming/donging stopped, it failed, no more harping reminder nannies.

Surname, for real? This answer alone could put the insanity in the passenger seatbelt warning gong thread to rest!

It gong-chimed but once today, that was it. Obviously, there is an electrical glitch which I am not repairing until the problem prevents the the car from functioning. Thus far, a blessing.

At least for now, sounds like a good problem to have.

On a similar note, I swear my exhaust is louder than it was for the first 5K miles. Seriously, and it's not the weather becasue it has been cold for several months now here. Weird...

Car is doing the chime/bong voice-change thing, again. I ignore it. Damn computers.

Chime

Mine will be a year old on May 15. 8500 miles on it. I started to notice the seatbelt chime lightening up awhile ago. Just wasn't as agressive. I click on the seatbelt immediately after starting, and I thought the car was giving me bonus points for being a good boy with my seatbelt. At this point it gives me one or two chimes and stops....

Love my 135i more and more everyday.....
