Birthday Present
So tonight was my 21st birthday and what did my amazing parents decide to get me? Yep you guessed it, a trip down to the local BMW dealership to pick out my 135i. I have read alot of your guys's threads about how you have ordered or got your 1 series, so i decided i would make my own. I'm going to go with alpine white, manual transmission, black interior.

*insert jealous comment about rich kids* Congrats man. In Cali, do you think the black interior is a good idea? Gets kinda hot inside...

Oh well. My car will be 100x more satisfying than his. Because it can never be held over my head.

Congratulations. White/Black was my first choice. Of course that was 3 choices ago . Be responsible and stay safe. That's a lot of muscle for someone with a full tank of testosterone/serotonin.

Congrats dude. My dad helped me out in buying my 330i, but I can already tell that I'm not nearly as appreciative of the car as I would have been had I paid for it entirely on my own, which is why I'm taking the long and hard route of saving up a down payment (Probably ~ $20k) for a 135 of my own. Enjoy the car though for sure.

What's the antique book say about my 3 speed brown/white top 72 Pinto? Vegas melted their aluminum blocks just looking at her. She had one hot tail. I also had a 91 Ford Explorer now that I think about it. They told me for about 6 months how the crown of the road affected the way the car drove, blah blah. Could never align it. Ends up being one of those Explorers with the defective too tight banded on the rail car tires. These tires were banded down and deformed causing bad blow outs. Fortunately I did not listen to the service people and bought new Michelins. Problem solved. And of course the Pinto was the famous Ford that SNL made fun of for having an exploding gas tank on rear impact. I don't think I'll be buying another Ford.

Be sure to be grateful and enjoy safely...Lot of car for a young person, so take it easy. A friend of my brother's wrecked an M5 being a young idiot(drink and drugs). He's paralyzed from the waist down now. Cops said the only reason he was still alive was because of BMW quality. Like I said, enjoy with your head on right, this car is no toy.......If your parents are looking to adopt, I'm a 44 year old homeless kid with a 135i...........................
