sorry to hear this. It sounds like your dealer must not have allocation? Can you find out if any other dealers do? It's uncool for the dealer to be leading you on like this.

I guess you haven't been following the Euro Cup. I don't think anyone in Germany is working. Your car is probably sitting on the production line and only the emergency lights are on at the plant.

that sucks!
Sorry about the bump, that really sucks. I agree it might be the dealer's allocation.
The BMW N.A. Rep I talked to just said mine went into production on Monday so someone is working. I don't care if it is one guy doing all the work as long as he keeps those robots welding!

Most Americans think that the Euro Cup is a car race. If Germany wins I would be afraid to have my car built afterwards due to the assembly line workers being drunk for a month in celebration. They might mistakenly put Mini Cooper parts in your 135 on make your car front wheel drive. |

I ordered mine on May 1st and will be picking it up on Monday. My dealer told me he had to take an allocation from the sister store in Orlando to get it here now.
It does suck, but you choose the 135 over the Evo for a reason. Stick to your decision because in the long run it will be worth it. Brian |

Maybe it's time to look for a new dealer? I ordered my car on 6/15 and it's already going to be done with production tomorrow 6/27. I didn't expect the order to go so smoothly and so fast. The bottom line is, try to find a CA who'll go the extra mile for you. Somone who will hunt down an open allocation from nearby dealers.

If you look up my situation I went through hell! Checking out another dealer may be something you want to do.

Hum, thats odd,
I ordered mine May 15th. Just checked the "track your car" on the BMW Members site and it is done being built and is awaiting transport. If I were you I would go to another dealership. someone's yanking you around. Good Luck. Also, I would wait to get the BMW. If you don't you will wish you had later. I have gone through 5 cars in the past 6 years since I got rid of my 325Cic convertible. I regretted the day I sold that car...6 years later I am finally filling that empty void that no other car could fill. BMW is the ultimate (affordable) driving machine. Oh, and I expect to get razzed about the 325Cic but it was the best convertible I have ever had. I sold it because my wife we jealous of it. She wouldn't ride in it and if I took it out and drove it without her, she made my life miserable. Turns out, she is now miserable since I haven't been able to settle on a car since I sold the 325Cic. Now she is pushing me to get a BMW again. So, I did and it is on its way..... This time around, I already told her that I am not selling the car, period. She seems to be over whatever it was now, thank god. Too bad it took 6 years.

They are trying to make us guys in production feel good aren't they. I wonder how long it takes to get one built in hours. My CA received the VIN notification on my ride yesterday at noon. I'm not following this closely or anything.
