Signs of bad abs sensor?

This seems to pop up after some driving goes away when turn the car off, but does come back…. Is this a bad abs sensor? Is there a way to know which one is bad?

Thats the one I use, works with Bimmer Code and Link. Although not under the Veepeak option in those 2 apps, but im able to use both apps without issue. Just had to play with the selections til it accepted it and let me do what I wanted.

I'm not sure if other apps, like torque or obdfusion work so I just coughed up the money and bought both link and code.

When mine went, it would give the errors on the dash and the ABS would randomly activate while stopping. Super quick and easy fix if it's just the sensor. If you get lucky it will be a front one, they are cheaper than the rears.

The hilarious thing was that my sensor let go when I was test driving the car after replacing the rear shocks. So of course I immediately thought that I had f'd up a rear sensor. Nope, it was a front that just randomly went bad. Correlation really doesn't imply causation.
