128i e88 cvm

Hey guys, I got a BMW 128. I had a bad CVM in it. I replaced the CVM and I can’t get it to communicate with the car. I was wondering if I went with those MOD for car modification top module would I need to fill with it or would that bypass it and make it work without it

I think you need to have it programmed to the car. Might be a trip to the dealer, or maybe BimmerTech can help.
