17x9 et30 stupid to try?
I found some apex ec7 for a great price square track set up 17x9 et30 i know the offset is crazy aggressive i dont mind rolling the fenders and buy m3 control arms. Is it a bad idea though?

It's probably do-able with the right tire choice and a lot of negative camber. You'd need way more than what the M3 arms will give you.
I took one of my 17x9 et42 wheels and installed it with 15mm of spacer to simulate the outside edge of a 17x9.5et42 (stick out 6mm further but need additional clearance to strut) and it looked okay-ish. If I found a cheap 17x9.5 I'd try it. Anyway, 17x9 et30 would stick out a little less than what I tried. I have -3.6deg of camber in the front though. ![]()
