Good idea or bad buy part 2 (135i Dinan)

View post on imgur.com

Been shopping for a new, fun weekend car since I sold my TJ. DD duties are covered with my 100 series Land Cruiser. The 1 series (specifically 128i) checks all the boxes for me (with the 6mt). I came across this 135i about 3 hours away from me. Seems like a great deal on a very tastefully modded car that’s clearly been well taken care of. The mileage is high, but it looks like most of the main maintenance items have already been handled. I do most moderate maintenance myself, and this car would likely see 3-5k miles a year at most from me. Price is currently $10.5k, and clean carfax. Current/ 3rd owner has has since 88k miles in 2011. Thoughts? Would you buy it?

That car is possibly very interesting. Manual sport seats.

I'd assume that any of the maintenance/repairs not done in the last 5y may need to be repeated.

If I'm reading correctly and it has almost 200k miles I'd be cautious on that and want a compression/leak down result before buying a 200k mile N54 that has been modified.
