128i radiator fan loud and constant coolant leaks
Kburger here. 190,000 on the 2013 128i vert. Just replaced the radiator fan and the new one is still loud. Is that just normal? Also I have fixed coolant leaks at least 6 times over the last year. Is that normal? Sometimes the cause is a repeat spot sometimes it’s a new spot. This is rediculous. Yes only use OEM bmw coolant.

Fans on my N55 are also very loud. I know a lot of people preventatively do a cooling system refresh since we're prone to leaks and failures, and at 190k and 13 years... probably past time.

Water pump might be on its way out? Check for codes.
At 190k, this doesn't seem too unbelievable. I'm at 150k and intending to replace every cooling system part when the first one lets loose. No record of my water pump ever being changed. |

My fan got super loud when my water pump failed. I assume it was that the car couldn't detect if the pump was working so it put the fan on full blast for max cooling.
