how do i get rid of the body roll?
I don't want an extreme suspension mod I just want to get rid of this crazy body roll. Would the bmw performance suspension take care of this?

I'm sure the BMW performance suspension substantially reduces body roll. Cheaper ways to do it might be just a front sway bar or just stiffer springs. I just added non-adjustable KW V1 coilovers and that certainly did it, I presume better and cheaper than the BMW performance.

+1 The BMW Performance suspension will help but to get the best improvement in performance, I suggest an aftermarket spring/shock combo like the Koni FSD/Eibach Pro Kit.

hotchkis doesnt make rear sways for the 1er i dont think..i think im going with m3 sways front and rear since their not as stiff as the hotchkis and h&r (im afraid of getting sways too stiff for the stock suspension), and later i might add on kw v2s which should go great the sways, if any1 has any suggestions please chime in..thanks.

Won't just changing the front to a thicker sway bar induce more understeer?
I also read somewhere that putting a thicker rear sway bar on the 1er with an open diff will cause more unloaded wheel spinning? Seems like not an ideal solution for both unless you get a mechanical diff also.

Sorry for the ignorance but I'm assuming that on a 135 the factory installed sway bar that is there would need to be removed, correct?
Also, You need to buy front and rear sway bars at the same time or can you buy the front only? Lastly, does BMW make a stiffer sway bar that can be used? Thanks.

2) The front sway bar alone will make a big improvement. You can do front and rear, but rear is incredibly difficult and expensive to install, so most people do the front only. 3) Yes, you can use the M3 sway bars or if you buy the BMW performance suspension (which i did), it comes with new stiffer sway bars. |

From what I understand the rear sway bar from the BMW perf. suspension is the same as the one you get with the sports package.

Mr. UPS Man should be bringing my Hotchkis front sway today or tomorrow! My suspension is stock Sport Package, so I'm looking for the bar to reduce front body roll and give me some crisper turn-in...will report.
