Steptronic launch control?
I was reading about the X6M and X5M and apparently they have launch control even though they have automatic transmissions. Is this just electronically-controlled torque breaking? Maybe we could get this for our cars...

Its not that hard to launch the step. but launch control would be nice, although I am almost certain that the Step in the X5 M and X6 M is a different transmission than the Step in the 135i.

So what's the best technique? Left foot to steady up the break then side step it and let her rip?

Left foot full brake. Right foot to about 1700 and go.
