Swirlx-Not bad

Has anyone tried Swirlx by Meguiars?? I tried it the other day...works very well in my op..the paint on the my black 128i convert looks at bit swirly and didt not look like a rich black. Let me know if anyone else has used it and what their thoughts are on it.

Thanks

picture is really small, do you have any close up pics that would show the condition of the paint

i would avoid it. i tried it on my jet black car - not the best results.

if you really want to get rid of swirls on black paint... you will probably need to go the 2-step polish route with an orbital buffer. i did part of my car yesterday with Menzerna polishes and am amazed with how it looks with a smooth, swirl free finish.

i have been pulling my hair out with this the last 8 months or so, tried various hand-applied products with little to no results.

yes. the idea is to remove the swirls, not fill them in...otherwise they will keep coming back
