It's certainly a lot of money especially for a car most people won't be able to pronounce properly I think it's pronounced "ki-ZUSH", but most people will say "KI-za-SHEE" as in "who giz a sheet"

Smart move from Suzuki, I reckon. They're about to have their traditional light & small segment swamped with Chinese tinboxes, so it's a good time to enter into the medium segment. The industry has actually been marvelling at the low pricing of the Kizashi considering the entry level version starts at $28k - that's a lot of car for the money compared with Mazda6, Camry, Accord Euro, etc. It's a nicely styled effort too, although the fake exhaust tips are a bit "Aurion". The proof will be in the driving.
As for pronounciation of Kizashi, I'll take your word for it. But while you're at it ... how do you say Qashqai? Thank God, they changed the name to Dualis for our market! I saw one just the other day and it still had "Qashqai" embossed into the chrome trim on the rear door!

I think it looks pretty good. Never noticed the similarity to the 1er, no wonder I like it

sorry wifey has plans for me tonight
i'm actually a bit wary of knocking 4cyl engines nowadays... hyundai's new 2.4 4cyl has 150kW/245Nm... my 125i is a 3.0L but only has 160kW/270Nm that's 15% less kW/L. would be a different story if we got the 130i's 190kW although maybe with the pbx i'm actually at 170kW/280Nm (or whatever power increase is equivalent to 0.5s faster 0-100) |

How are you enjoying the PBX? I've been very closely considering it. The power gains aren't much, but the main reason i'd get it is for throttle responsiveness. |

The throttle responsiveness is much better now, much more progressive. A bit too much on map 3 (very hard to drive smoothly lol) but map 2 suits me just fine. I've been ebaying a lot of crap lately but the pbx will definitely be one of the last things to go janus77 currently has his out of the car since he has another service coming up or something, maybe if he cbf putting it back in you can approach him for a purchase |
