Cold Weather Package

I'm confused as to whether the heated steering wheel is included in the cold weather package on the 2011 128i. On the site, it's not listed as being included in the package, but it is listed in the brochure. If you add it to the car when building it at bmwusa.com when the cold weather package is included, it doesn't change the price. And on the confidential wholesale pricing, it says it's No Cost in combination with ZCW (cold weather package).

Do you have to select the option to get it? Or does it just come along with cold weather?

Can somebody who has a 2011 with the cold weather package answer this?

That's a good question. I see what you're talking about when you build the car. Personally, I opted for the M-Sport package, and the heated steering wheel option cannot be applied to the M-Sport steering wheel.

The heated steering wheel was a seperate option in 2010 M.Y. It was fairly cheap too if I remember right. $200 ? I did not get it though. I only wanted the cold weather pack.

It is NOT included. My salesmen told me it was but when the car arrived they learned it was not. I am still bummed about it.

If you get the cold weather package the heated steering wheel is a no cost option but you do have to specifically order it. I did this and it was on the car when I picked it up.

I would have ordered the ZCW package but you can't get the heated steering wheel on a 128i with the M-sport package.

According to my 2010 ordering guide...

option #248 (heated steering wheel) is a $190 option thru Military sales for a 135i and MUST BE ordered with ZCW (cold weather pack) and CAN NOT be ordered with ZSP (sport pak) or ZMP (M-sport pak).

For the 128i in order to order option #248 (heated steering wheel) you MUST order with ZCW (cold weather pack) and it CAN NOT be ordered with ZMP (M-sport pak).

Hope this helps clear things up.
