Question Who is your Favorite Dealership? Looking to buy CPO soon.

Hello Everyone,
Within the next 4 months I will be hopefully getting rid of my STI for an e92M3. I'm still undecided on a few items such as Color, 08 vs. 09, carbon vs. moon-roof. I did finally decide to go with the 6-spd. While it is in my best interest to buy in December (bonuses), I'm getting really antsy, with some of the recent deals floating around online I wonder if I could potentially pull the trigger sooner. I plan to buy.

The other difficult part is finding a good dealership or a decent sales person to work with to figure out items like financing, should I go with my bank or with BMW and what sort of deals there are out there. Also I'm wondering if I find a CPO'd car on BMW's website and the car is located is NJ or something like that, could I work with a local dealership to get the car?

Thanks in advance, I know dealerships can be a pain. I've walked around VOB a few times and while it's nice not to be harassed it also was not very inspiring to be ignored, but I guess I understand considering that people just like to browse.

I think for a period, BMW Financial was offering cheap financing on CPO cars, this was like back in May or something, hopefully it'll be available when you're ready.

I would say the best dealership is the one that gives you the best deal. The guy who can minimize your M3 purchase price while maximizing your trade in value will be my best dealership. You're not going camping with him and his family, you're buying a car. lol.

Just by pure number of dealers out there, the guy who offers you the best deal probably won't be here in the DC area. Be prepared to travel.

Nan Wong at VOB is excellent. Just ask for her. She is no BS. I've purchased 2 cars from her and referred about 10 others. Everyone has a great experience with her.

Where to buy

James Duerbeck at BMW of Fairfax, 703-409-9100, is knowlegable, and a delite to deal with. He's a FATT instructor, drives a new 335is. Really knows his BMW'S, and available options.

Those who shop by price only, may possibly miss out on critical information in the buying process, and have to deal with an idiot.

Go 2 hours north to Sun Motors in Mechanicsburg, PA. Talk to Dan Commune. That dealership consistantly gets buyers from the Baltimore/DC area because they have good deals and provide great service. 800-470-8133.

NOT BMW OF FAIRFAX, VA. So many people have talking about snobby sales people and horrible service from their service department. Including me.

you're not serious right? lol, what "secrets" can they be possibly telling you? I dont' know about you man, but driving home with money in the trunk sure feels good.

Also, they're nice to you cuz you gave them a $2000+ profit on their car. If you give me this money for 1 hour worth of work to sell you a car you've already set on buying, I'll be your best friend too and send you lots of freebies...
