Who Has Aftermarket Bucket Seats/Mounts/Harness?

Hello, I am thinking about swapping out my stock sports seats within the next 3-6 months for either a reclining 3-4 point harness compatible seat or a fixed back 4-6 harness compatible bucket seat. Right now I am set on a few seats by OMP, Recaro, Sparco, Cobra, and Seibon (didn't know they made seats until now). My concern though is what mounts to use, who makes the best, which will be the least problematic in fitting to my car (E8X/E9X specific versus universal), lowest weight, what choice of materials (cloth, suede, vinyl, leather, or some sort of combination), and best bang for the buck. I understand seats can get expensive, but I'd like to say between $800-$1500 per seat (not including support parts). I already have Schroth Racing harnesses in mind. So anyone has done such modifications to their 1ers please feel free to post. I'd like to learn about which seats/mounts/harnesses you chose, why, and if it was pretty much plug and play for the 1er? Thanks in advance.

I know that and browse their website often. So far I know Recaro is an easy fit thanks to EAS and Macht Schnell, but I am wondering if anyone else is using something different. Anyone running seats from Corbeau, Bride, Cobra, OMP, Sparco? I think Schroth harnesses are one of the best out there, but again anyone running anything different? Sat in a buddy of mine's E36 328iS (custom single turbo) and I really like the lower and snugger nature of the one piece fixed back seats (Cobra seats with Sparco harnesses that he was able to borrow from a friend). Pole Positions are definitely high on my list of seats to replace from stock, but I'd like to go with OMP, just not sure if the Recaro brackets will work with them. Also I know Schroth offers something similar to a PnP harness for the older generation 3 series, wondering if they would make something for the E8X/E9X soon (probably will have to write or call them). If anyone has done such modifications may it be regular customer or vendor I would like to see your setup.

I would also like to see a Quickfit harness from Schroth like they offered on the older bimmers. AFAIK, the E46 was the last ones they made the Quickfit for. They do not make them for the E9x. Not only has the E9x cars been out longer, but are they way more of them than E82/E88. If they do not make a E9x version then they will certainly not make a E82 version.
