^ You usually have to go out of your way to get to costco, then when you get there you wait in line for a pump. $0.20 cheaper than most, so you save $3 every fill up... Which is probably the gas money you spent to go out of your way to get to costco.

If sam's club gas is the same as costco, it's the same gas as other places, but without the additives such as techron.
Haven't used costco gas on the M3, but use to fill up on costco gas every now and then and never had a problem. Oh and can avoid the lines if you go early in the morning or late at night. Now I don't have a problem with costco gas, but have more peace of mind filling up at chevron. |

Costco advertises that they add cleaning agents. Each type of gas has their own additive packets. I've used both once in a while when I'm out at the warehouse for something and it seems to run fine.
I don't know where you guys live, but they're all pretty close to me and since I have kids, we're out there all the time anyway.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I went to costco this past weekend the gas was the same price as 76, Shell, Chevron, etc.. It was about $4.00/gallon for premium.

i usually fill up at costco since its not really out of my way to get gas there, and i go every week anyway. all my cars seem to like it pretty well. however on the days that i cant get costco gas, i try to get shell or 76 if shell isnt available. it even seems like shell gas makes my car a bit more responsive (possible placebo? ). but it seems like all my cars think chevron is trash.. then again its probably just the additives or something. gas is gas lol.
havent tried sam's club gas since i've never seen one but it shouldnt be too bad. im guessing its probably pretty similar to costco gas. |
