BMW Vista, north county San Diego

First a little background: I live 10 minutes away from Encinitas BMW, from which I bought my M3 with ED. Before that I had been bringing my 335 there for service. Initially pretty happy with the service department there, but last few times had issues with getting some rash on my wheels as well as a scratch on a rear fender while the car was there for routine service. They took care of it, but it was a hassle to deal with it.

So Vista BMW opens up recently next to my work, just off the 78, next to the Costco. Finally had a chance to go in to check out the place. First surprise is my 2 SA's from Encinitas BMW are now working there. The service department looks great, lots of room and clean service bay. Hopefully won't have issues with scratches to cars or wheels. They have this great lounge area where there is a dedicated worker (pretty cute girl,btw) serving drinks and I think food. They have iPads to use while waiting. Loaners available as well as the shuttle.

The sales area looks a little small, but there looks like there is a lot of room to expand.

I left very impressed with what I saw. I think I found my new dealership. If you guys are in the area, drop by to check it out.

I haven affiliation with the dealership, but do appreciate a place that is customer oriented.

Thanks for the info. I live in Carlsbad too, a recent transplant from LA. I've had my E92 at Encinitas just once with no problems.

On a different note...do you happen to know of a good detailer in this area? I usually do all detailing on the car myself, but there are a few minor blemishes that are more than I can handle that I'd like to get taken care of. Also need a little work on my Ducati, and some major work on a black cargo van i just bought (for hauling the Ducati).

Any help from anyone would be hugely appreciated!

Can't help with finding a detailer since I try to do all that myself(the very basic things). Look in the detailing portion of the forum. I think I saw quite a few in the south oc area.

jennifer harloff was a childhood friend of mine. when did it change to encinitas bmw?

Harloff changed to Encinitas BMW either late 2006 or early 2007. Bought my e92 328 there just before the change in ownership.

BMW of Vista is a great please to do your car service. they take care of you very well!
