Berk Technology race exhaust for 135i.

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hey guys,

Selling a brand new never used Berk Technology race exhaust for 135i. This exhaust is a rear muffler delete. Mates with OEM midpipes. It is bolt on.

Here is the link to the site of the product listed above.

http://www.berktechnology.com/shop/p...D=282&P_ID=507

I have contacted Berk Technology myself and asked him some questions. Here are the responces i recieved.

"Your system has the optional black ceramic coating and you also have the latest version with the balancer tube. Fits all 135i, 2008-current."

"Balancer tube greatly improves the sound of the exhaust, it doesn't do much for performance. Performance wise you cannot design a better, lighter system. "

"Makes almost 30hp in the midrange, the peak numbers are about the same since the N54/N55's will not allow the car to make more boost without a tune. You get all of the extra power in the midrange by allowing the turbos to spool quicker with less back pressure. "

Asking price is $300.00 plus shipping.
Originally cost 489.99 plus tax and shipping.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me any questions.

I am not trying to remove all the covering but I took a quick snap of the ceramic black coating.

This is a picture off the website of Berk Technology of the exhaust installed.

The balancer tube iirc is supposed to get rid of the dreaded "french horn" sound that afflicts some versions of this exhaust. So, people who are thinking of buying it, i'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about having that problem on this exhaust since it supposedly corrects it

No prob man.

I just double checked and that's definitely the function of the balancer tube. No more french horn noise!

I used to have the original version of this exhaust and it sounds great so I'm happy to help give it a good home
