Testing the 135i down the 1/4 Drag Rac
I am Loving this car, from my 1st Autocross w/ the 135i and taking 1st in DS, now to test it out down the 1/4. Track was nicely prepped, managed a best of a 2.0 60' and 13.51 for the day on stock RFT I found 2k Rpm was idea, anything higher I would spin hard/wheel hop, anything less would bog. Fun times, I def didn't expect to give my brother's R32 Skyline GTR a run til' 1/2 track or so
Just thought I would share: Next time out might have to get the Cobb AP I think, since I have a stock baseline now, I was happy to see 104mph run as my prior Dinan 335Xi stage 1 was 105mph on cool night and was steptronic.

Nice run mate. You should take out your brothers GTR with just a JB4/Procede and a decent 60ft because he only traps around 108mph.
Here's my encounter with a Skyline |

135i vs Skyline R32 GTR

Just as long as he doesn't mod his more! Hahha I think going w/ Cobb Accessport would put me high 12s and pickup a 3-4mph I bet. He has stock clutch so couldn't launch too hard to take advantage of the GTR's Awd. But I was Very Happy to run door to door until end of the track where he pulled topend 109-110mph for him. I am Loving the 135i, I look fwd to next Autocross and new Cobb AP soon to return to track

First night out for me I bested a 13.14 @ 106.1 with a 2.1 short. Fastest run was 106.5. Nothing but Cobb stage 1 93 and DIY DCI. I left TC on, stock RFTs, and it was interfering even going into 4th gear on some runs. Left lane was junk so I only really got one decent run in, everyone was trying to line up in the right lane. This was at IRP (technically now Lucas Oil Raceway Indy).
With the new Dunlop Z1 SS 265 tires, some more seat time, and turning off the TC crutch I'm sure it will go 12.8-12.9s ~107-108mph. Very impressive for such few mods to the car. Been raining the last two weeks so I haven't made it back out yet. |

Cobb AP

I really want to run on some drag radials, such a fine line on oem's of spinning like mad and somewhat hooking/not bogging. Keep us posted! Thanks!
