Sure. I occasionally rubbed the underpan of the front bumper before adding my lip. I'm lowered around an inch. Now with a lip I'm just very careful but still I've rubbed my lip a few times.

I scraped the rubber pieces right under the front bumper, I think they are wind deflectors? Anyway, I'm on stock height and I still scraped, meaning I almost scraped the front bumper because of how steep the driveway was. It all depends on the driveway/ramp etc and the angle you take it at.

So now I know, that once I lower my car and get the front lip I want to get, that I can no longer pull into my local Arby's parking lot, lol.

OP reminds me of

Also, you just have to be careful. There are slopes of different sizes and shapes everywhere, and you just have to get used to judging whether your car will fit up/down a slope without rubbing. I've had several very close calls without being lowered and just the performance aero bumper. I don't know how other people do it, but I'd drive myself crazy. And I can barely fit up my girlfriend's driveway without scraping except at a ridiculous angle, so I don't think I can go any lower than stock

Lol those are scrape guards, not wind deflectors. And they've served their purpose well

Well then, they did. They also served their purpose of giving that "Oh shit!" sound to scare the crap out of me, lol.

Like I said, it all depends on where you are driving and how you drive. However, even if you are really low, you can tackle most steep driveways by taking them at an angle, if you have room.

I was sure those plastic pieces were wind deflectors. I removed them since I figured the lip threw off my wind profile anyways. Maybe I should have kept them to warn me before I scrape....nah, they are ugly IMO.

Cover the bottom of said lip with a thin piece of carbon fiber (because race car) and it'll keep it nice thru the scrapes for a while.

HAHA! He even edited it, and it still sounds like caveman jargon.
