1M Insurance DILEMA
What happens if your car is totaled and your policy has a 2 year replacement clause.
Has anyone who is purchasing the 1M or already in possession asked this question of their insurer. If their is NO supply/production in the second year of ownership and your car is a write off? Do we have to be EXTRA cautious to maintain our cars are not stolen or written off? |

They would probably have a clause in there in case this happens? For instance, what happens when a car you buy is replaced by a new model a year after you get it? I would assume you get the newest equivalent model?
So in this case... would you get the new M2 when it arrives if it's in that time period? If not... then good question! |

GIO say that they can opt to give you the closest equivalent vehicle and options if your car is not available . . . would not be a great outcome if they decided that meant 135 or 335.
