Credit to Aussie 1 Addicts!

I've been part of many forums in the past back from my GTR and STI days even back when I had my Group A VK Brock but I must admit that this is by far my best experience with genuine people I have had online.
The respect shown for each other is true to the Aussie spirit so keep it up guys as I really think we have one of the tightest communities going here.

Glad you're enjoying your time here, it's one of the reasons I stick around! Always an excellent source of reliable info too.

PS. also convinces me to blow insane amounts of money on the car. DAMN.

Definitely agree with the sentiments here!

I think it improved a while back with the first joint E90/1addicts drive day. I now catch up a lot more with the e90 boys than the 1ers!

I think I have a new drive night partner?

I agree. It is something I have wanted to say as well. I haven't been an active participant on many forums, mainly an observer, because of the attitudes of people on them. Australian 1Addicts is refreshingly different, there is a level of maturity that is rare on fora in general. I suggest it's due to the core guys and gals who have been here for years and maintain the culture. Well done everyone. I hope I can live up to it.

In the words of the esteemed philosopher Jackie Moon - "EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY"

I definitely have to agree. I have never been any active part of a forum before, however peeking at the US side of things really highlights the contrast in attitudes. This place has been really great - a truly friendly and mature environment - except for the gear knob discussions!

Keep it up guys!

I agree, good manners go a long way on internet forums. The more real life events and cruises people attend, the better their behaviour gets online.

Pat on the back to Aussie forum members!

In order to make sure this does not take a turn for the worst, the next meet must now be at a pub.

Perhaps this forum is more pleasant than some because people here tend to be a little older and more mature. That often means they are better behaved.

I think it's largely due to the fact we drive 1ers, which by no means is a "look at me!" type vehicle. Thus, we clearly don't give a hoot about penis-comparison contests. We simply enjoy driving our cars. This translates into a cool, calm and collected mindset both in real life and online.

This is why I continue to stick around, 1 year after letting go of my 1er.

I got home at 1:30am last night after a great night out with the Mrs, nice dinner and plenty of drinks and I was in the mood to share the love.

1Addicts is far more civilised compared to E90Post. And it's all the better because of that!
