Brisbane detailers

I know this is a shameful admission. My friends, please do not judge me too harshly.

As any sensible person does, I decided not to pay my dealer and additional $2700 (you read that correctly) for the paint protection/leather treatment on the Angry Jaffa.

Of course I intended to take care of the paint requirements myself. My main concern is to get some sealant/wax onto it.

Unfortunately I have been so busy with work, family etc that I haven't had time to do it myself, nor (to be honest) the competence.

Can anyone recommend a good detailer in Brisbane who you would trust to do the job? I want to get it done sooner rather than later...

Usually the body shops usually will do a good job - isn't there a place a moorooka that everyone goes to? Otherwise, Dec can do it on the Sunnycoast

Here is what i'd do on a brand new car that doesn't need any correction.

If you haven't already. Invest in some decent gear to wash the car. (waffle weave drying towel, microfibre or lambswool washing mitt etc.)

In terms of sealing the paintwork i'd thoroughly wash it first. Hand apply dodojuice lime prime. This will remove any contaminants that your car may have picked up in transit.

Apply a coat of Dodojuice Supernatural wax then finish with some Gtechniq C2 and have a 20-1 ratio C2 quick detailer which you use every few washes to top it up.

The Gtechniq stuff is something i have only just discovered but i have just ordered some for my car. It looks awesome and has nothing but good reviews.

Gtechniq also sell a product called C1 which is a sealant that lasts over 12 months and provides awesome protection. They only sell it to professionals but i'm in the process of trying to get my hands on some.

Thanks Dec. Is there any particular retailer you use, or are buying this stuff online?

swissvax is nice - but dodojuice get you bang for buck (in terms of a premier product). Best dodojuice product however is the red mist - basically a spray on wax - but it lasted for two months.
