Steve - thank you
For ages I told myself I wasn't really an Apple fan. I kidded myself I only had an iPod because there wasn't really an alternative. When I left Microsoft after 7 years last month I got myself an iPhone "because of the great deal", not because I'd secretly wanted to try one out for years, obviously.
But I feel tonight is the night to fess up - So far as the iPod and iPhone go, I like them, a lot, because they do, indeed, just work. And very cool that "just working" is too when in my 1M. Thank you Steve. You really have helped make my every journey more fun - and you can't ask much more than that from your gadgets

RIP Steve. The world would be a very different place had you not been around.
I believe that the shifts in the way we think, work, communicate and play that you inspired are perhaps more important than the products you brought to us. Even the biggest anti-Apple people have to admit that you have had a positive impact on the world. Thanks. |
