Couple pics from VT
I took a day trip up VT on Route 100 to see some foliage. I started on I-91 North from CT, got off and took Rt.112 to Route 100, followed Rt. 100 north for a long time, took Rt. 125 to Rt. 7 South, then I-90 and 91 south to home.
It's crazy to see the amount of damage Irene did up there. They are STILL rebuilding parts of Rt. 100 where water completely washed out the road embankments. Whole bridges are still missing. The car is entirely covered in dust from the road construction in both pics The gem of the trip ended up being Rt. 125. It's a nice twisty back road, perfectly paved, and has a speed limit of 50. That of course means 60 is okay and the locals are on your ass trying to pass doing 70. |

I went to culinary school up in Essex Junction, VT back in 05-06, I miss it alot. VERY scenic areas and driving. Sometimes id just go n drive, was driving a hyundai tiburon then, but it was still sweet. Itd be like driving thru an infinite Amish Country setting basically on VT's backroads. Not only that, things up in VT, least the area i was in (essex, burlington) just always seemed so calm n relaxing..my kinda shit.
