Updated navigation disc?
I have an '08 135i with built in navigation. It still has the original navigation DVD and I'm finding that some of the maps are a bit out of date. I looked on BMWs website and it says a new disc costs $200. That can't be right can it? Not when you can buy iPhone apps that do the same thing for $1.
If that is the real price does anyone know of a reputable torrent site where I can get a copy of a newer disc and burn it myself? I can't bring myself to spend $200 on a new disc when I paid $1200 for the option to begin with only use it every now and then as it is. Dan |

Gee you guys get things at far more reasonable prices than we do. A workmate recently paid $900 for an update to the nav system in his M3.

To be honest... One of the biggest annoyances is that just last year they completed a major freeway in my town. However whenever I drive on it it looks like I'm in the middle of an empty field and if I enter a destination which can be got to via the freeway it always calculates a route using the surface streets and freaks out when I ignore it and take the freeway instead. Although it's not annoying enough to pay $200 for a new disc. Quote:

Took rps up on his offer and now have an updated disc at a reasonable price. The new disc has the new freeway so my biggest annoyance has been solved.
