12 MM spacers

Hi

Will 12 mm spacers rub on the car with the original suspension. I know it won't in the back but Im not sure for the front

Any comments?

Rears work to 15mm
Fronts 12mm

Yes, the 12mm will cause the tire to rub on the oil and water cooler exhaust vents at or near full steering lock.

12mm is okay for the rear, but no more. Once lowered and at stock camber settings, anything more than 12mm will rub. If you plan to run more, you will need to add negative camber and anything more than -2 on a street car will start eating up the inside of your rear tires.

Harold do you think I could get away with 9.5" 24ET F, 10.5" 24ET R with 265/20/19 F 295/30/19 R PSS with KW V3 and the stock camber maxed out? Not really interested in a lot of rubbing, but I would like to lower a bit.

The wheels will fit, that is not a problem.

As long as the tires are right around the same diameter of the OE you will be okay. We are mostly concerned on diameter on the front with a 255 or 265. Rears at 295 will be a tight fit and you will have to try it.

12mm rear will work fine. 5mm works on the front, 10mm will work with some rubbing on the vents.

Momo, I had been running around with 12mm rears and no spacers in the front -with that set up the front looked really "inset" . Today I added 10mm to the front and it looks "right". I am very happy with the 10mmF/12mmR. I personally think the 12mmF/15mmR that some are running looks too agressive or "gangsta" But to each his own!

Momo.. if you're from Montreal, I should have mine with 10F and 12R if you want to see how it looks.
