OMG BMW Performance seats with Kyalami stitching

Just had the seats fitted this morning, got to say worth every penny. Need to have them lowered to the second setting as a little too high for me but need to order more bolts from Recaro.

You're thinking just like me, new ones to be sent as they were suppose to fit black ones, unfortunately silver ones fitted by mistake.

Lol just incase someone wants to sit on them.......... I am sure you could cling wrap them so you can still see the seat, seat covers are for greasy ass techs to sit on, would you cover this beauty up in a black plastic garbage bag ?????????

Accessing the rear is exactly the same as the stock seating , the performance seat is not a fix bucket...

When you take along trip let us know, wondering how comfortable these are? Everyone raves about the 1er sport seats and how good they are, why change them?

These are more comfortable than the sports seats, I know as I had the same Recaros fitted to my RS500 before

Did you buy them directly from Recaro with orange stitching? Considering performance seats aswell, but don't like the silver stiching. Don't think we have good enough specialists here to change them.

Very nice! The eyelets in VO would complete the look for sure!

Direct from Recaro in Stuttgart, Germany. If you need the contact there please PM me

This is where the BMW Performance OEM seats are made. Same factory just different coloured stitching. Easy!

Mind letting us in on the cost of them?

I've never been a huge fan of leather, these do seem to match the interior better then the stock ones and if there are more comfortable...

And whats the weight savings?

A lot of money delivered to the UK, PM and I'll tell you. Weight saving is 20kg I believe. Two of us picked up the boxes to load in our van and thought they were empty boxes. Cant believe how light they are.
