AMAZING No Holes Front Licence plate
Alright so I got a fix it ticket, and decided to do some research on a easy to install and remove front license plate. My goal is to get something that I can just install to get the ticket signed off on and then remove it right after.
This thing screws into your towing screw in the front of your car...which lovely enough every BMW comes with. So take 1 minute to screw it in drive down get the ticket written off...and then go home screw it off. The best part is it only costs $50...just ordered one yesterday. http://www.gominigo.com/BMW.html

Not to spoil your fun, but this thing isn't exactly new. I've had one on my car since I brought it over to the States last year. I actually bought the kit shortly after I placed the order for my car back in 2010, I just didn't need to use it until moving to the States.

Not to be a dick about it, because I try not to. But I'll use a emoticon that I have yet to use on this forum that would have helped you out from the beginning. Because chances are, its already been discussed here 6 or 7 times. |

Never go without a front license plate. Not worth it.

Not worth what? I haven't had a front plate in 8 years and the car works and looks great.

I never find it being worth the extra "attention" from the man. It does look nice though, I'm jealous of the states that don't require one.
I do laugh though, when I'm in a state that doesn't require it, but they still have a plateless holder / frame / dealer thing on the bumper, ruining the potentially nicer look. |

LOL!
Hey, props to you for finding the info. Really. But can you blame us? A search for "license plate" on here would've inundated you with so much info. |

Here is some good info for you about this kit. Be careful putting the screws in. They are small and can easily go in at an angle and now one of the 4 in mine is seized up and won't budge at all. Also, keep an eye out if your area isn't the greatest. A simple twist on the whold license plate will allow someone to steal your plate.

License plates are easily stolen no matter what. Definitely not something to lose sleep over. A simple twist of a screwdriver would remove any plate as it is.
