The future for Angel eyes ?
So, when will BMW or Vendor develop Angel eyes that can change color? EG change from white, to Red, to blue with a switch ? The technology has made it to X-mas lights and other applications. However, I assume it maybe cost prohibitive due to the # of chips in one LED that would be required.
Just thinking of the future

When BMW updated the corona rings to LEDs, I thought for sure they'd also use the dual-color LEDs that are making their way into cars such as the newer Audis and make the corona rings function as both DRLs and turn signals. Heck, I had European LED tail lights on my '08 R32 and '09 Jetta and both had dual-color LEDs for the turn signals (red for running lights and amber for turn signals).
