Motul 8100 X-cess motor oil Opinion

I just did an oil change with Motul 8100 5w40, my original bmw oil had 8k on it. After the initial start I could immediately tell that my car was idling much better and quieter.

I havent driven it much, but I will be doing a canyon run this weekend and ill keep close eye on how it is temp wise.

I hope the motor runs smooth like this for miles to come. I will update this thread after a few thousand miles if anything changes as the oil gets mileage put on it.

I bought 7 quarts with mann filter from ECS tuning for $90 shipped. It was my first time ordering from ECS and loved how promptly they shipped the oil (same day).

I use it in most of my customers cars and in my car. I have had great luck with it and plan to keep on using it. Same goes for Mann filters
