Anyone got their roof painted gloss black?
Anyone got their roof painted gloss black? I got a quote to get it wrapped and it was around $500
What should be the approximate cost of getting it painted? Cheers |

That's way too much. I got a quote and it was $300 to wrap including the fin antenna...

did you get it wrapped in gloss black? Were you happy with it? What is the longevity of external wraps?
I have a sunroof, I don't know if that makes it more expensive? cheers |

To paint the roof wouldn't be cheaper, but it would probably look better.
For resale purposes the wrap would most likely be the smarter option? |

Was my 135i. Gloss Black and I had a sunroof.
They told me without the sunroof it would have been more like $250... Quality was good. Avery Vinyl. The vinyl is warranted for 7 years in "vertical applications". Basically what that means is that on a roof that spends heaps of time in the sun it might only last 5 years. |

Definitely more expensive to spray the roof (due to labour costs) and I'd just stick the gloss black vinyl on there. Maybe even buy the vinyl yourself and have a go... |
